Your privacy matters. WaterLock is designed to work on-device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

Data We Collect

WaterLock stores your hydration logs, daily goals, streak history, and app rules locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Screen Time & Family Controls

WaterLock uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls and DeviceActivity frameworks) to apply and manage app restrictions. This integration is handled entirely by Apple's native frameworks and does not give us visibility into which specific apps you use or your usage patterns.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, WaterLock can read and write water intake data to Apple Health. This data is managed by Apple's HealthKit framework and is only accessed to sync your hydration logs. We do not access any other health data.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics through Apple's standard telemetry to understand app performance and stability. This data is never linked to your personal identity or your hydration or usage data.

Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed securely by Apple. We do not store your payment information. Purchase history is managed through your Apple ID.

Children's Privacy

WaterLock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
